Craig S Seidman M.D.

Dr. Seidman is a board-certified surgeon in both general and vascular surgery, with extensive experience in advanced, minimally invasive vascular and endovascular procedures. Throughout his career, he has introduced innovative technologies to his region, including catheter-based and image-guided treatments that improve outcomes while reducing the need for traditional surgery.

In the treatment of hemorrhoids, Dr. Seidman applies his vascular expertise to support modern, non-surgical approaches such as hemorrhoid artery embolization. These targeted, minimally invasive techniques focus on reducing blood flow to the affected vessels, helping relieve symptoms like pain and bleeding while minimizing recovery time and discomfort.

Dr. Seidman serves as Medical Director of the Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute and is the former Chief of Staff at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the Society for Vascular Surgery.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. His advanced fellowship training includes vascular surgery at Boston University, trauma surgery at the University of Cape Town, and endovascular surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
