About Patrick Harty, MD
Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist | Vascular & Embolization Expert
Dr. Patrick Harty is a nationally recognized interventional radiologist with nearly two decades of experience in pioneering outpatient vascular care. After serving as the Chief of Interventional Radiology for one of California's largest medical groups, Dr. Harty returned to Omaha to bring his "patient-first" outpatient model to the MIC Imaging & Procedure Center.
A graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine, Dr. Harty’s career has been defined by his mastery of the vascular system. He is a leading expert in Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE), a sophisticated, non-surgical treatment for chronic internal hemorrhoids. Dr. Harty applies the same precision-guided embolization techniques he uses in complex arterial disease to target the blood supply of hemorrhoids, providing a "no-cut" alternative to traditional surgery.
Dr. Harty’s philosophy is built on innovation and education; he teaches vascular techniques both locally and nationally. At MIC, he leverages this expertise to offer Omaha patients a discreet, office-based procedure that eliminates the need for general anesthesia or the painful recovery associated with a hospital-based hemorrhoidectomy.
Education: Georgetown University (BA), Creighton University (MD & Residency), University of Illinois (Fellowship).
Specialties: Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE), Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), and Venous Thromboembolic Disease.
